Just wrote a set of events to make the union of the crowns of England and Scotland more likely and to provide a choice at Elizabeth's death. Also an alternative set of 17th century monarchs if you don't choose the historical route in 1603.

And it appears to have done something nasty to my game - I now get "Database Mismatch" error when I try to start a game.

What is "Database mismatch" likely to be caused by? I've read over my events and can't see any obvious problems...

Database Mismatch = two events, monarchs or leaders share an ID...

Events have a v. high threshold for numbers so try multiplying every number by 10 or 100 to see if the problem is solved...

As for monarch the limit is a lot lower, so a problem is harder to track down... perhaps someone has a list of every monarch currently in game somewhere...

I'd typoed the ID of my first event, making it the same as my second event!

It's still not working though. It seems to be objecting to a line elsewhere.

Still, I've just found a link to the online event parser so I'll run them through that and see if that helps.
