I recently played two games. A game with Seljuk Empire and another starting with Hungary, and have not seen appear at any time the Mongols . Have they disappeared ?

I find this seriously annoying, really. Without HL the Mongols do nothing at all, not even conquering a single county, much less trying invasions.

I hate it when Pdx comes with "bugs" like that. Yes, i could buy HL, but i´m not interested in nomads, and i certainly won´t buy a dlc just because of buggy behaviour of some tags without it.

I think the same. If it's not a bug, it would be a shame that without the DLC Mongolians do not appear.

The Mongols do appear some time in the beginning of the 13th century even if you don't have Horse Lords. They get some 80K or so event troops, conquer Mongolia ... and then just sit there. They do expand, but rather slowly and I have yet to see them take any land outside the steppes.

In my current game (nomadic turkish) they didn't manage to win a single subjugation war against other nomads. 40k stacks just wander in enemy territory without occupying it, slowly driving warscore towards defensers, and finishing with a white peace. I noticed that both against myself or AI.
They did expand tho through feudal khiva and persia.

I guess it's a bug . Before publishing Horse Lords I saw the Mongols reach the border of HRE .

I have all DLC, and in my game (1066 start) the mongols rushed in, conquered mongolia and the settled kingdom to the south of it, and then declared war on Cumania. After that they have been sitting at between 81-89% warscore for something like 50 years, appearently doing nothing. I can only assume their AI bugged out somehow.

I have seen them sweep as far south as Arabia with Conclave and Horse Lords.

They did indeed give them their balls back.
Yep, in my current ironman Abyssinia game they've subjugated Mesopotamia and Byzantium and much of the Balkans, plus they've turned Catholic. Finally running out of event troops so implosion is just beginning.

I've actually expereinced as similair thing with the Aztecs. They landed with their 80K heavy infantry, invaded Andalusia and then just sat there until they converted to Catholic (resulting in all their emprors going on to become pope) and did a little bit of holy warring against Mali.

I hope so too, but i have my doubts. I can remember the "black dynasty shields"-bug a few patches ago, when many just bought the dynasty shield packs. Likewise, the Mongols work fine if you have HL, so many people will just buy HL to make the game work. My confidence in the business ethics of Pdx is a bit...limited.

Actually I have HL and they do not always work well there either ...
