When will you start writing an EUIII AAR?

People apply for beta positions. Whenever Paradox announce their next new game, whatever it will be, keep checking the forum. At some point they will announce application for betatester, and there you go. Usually when the game is more developed they ask for a second-wave of betas (as they did with EU3).

As for writing an AAR, if I have the time, probably pretty soon.

I can't say for sure. I definitely want to finish The Morea before I start another AAR. And for EUIII I was really wanting to do a Trebizond AAR, but I don't know how many of those are going to pop up right away. So if too many Trebizond AARs are going when I finish my CK AAR, then I'll prolly do an EUII AAR or a HOI2 AAR first, then go to EUIII. But this is all speculation right now. I'm just gonna play it by ear.

Well, I do intend to transfer "No it's probably not Chicago" to EU3 at some (already determined) point. And given my current rate of writing, this point should be reached sometime around 2458 (+- 5 years) :wacko:

Have already plotted out the first few chapters that dont require gameplay... just debating about whether to put them into written form and post them early...

I'm sure I'll get to do an EUIII AAR at some stage but I'll have to do one for CK, Vicky and HoI first. Although it would be interesting to revisit the de Lusignans.

The fact that so many of us will be delaying our entries into the EUIII AAR world means the AARers of EUIII will have time to form their own community with their own leaders and great AARs, instead of importing those from EUII or other games. We'll get to see more new authors distinguishing themselves before the "established names" start to enter the field, I hope, and it will be very refreshing to meet the new generation.
