Just wondering, cuz it's hard to sort through all the threads to find modding stuff!

Oh...does that mean we can't participate in the mod forum if we don't have the game?Havard said:There is a mod forum.
You will get there when you register the game
We havent' moved most of the modding threads here, since they are mainly dealing with the demo
Oh....Moltke said:I guess they want you to buy the game even if you can't play it, so they bait you with exclusive privileges.
rcduggan said:I am getting collectors edition anyway, but why do you need a game to go in the modding forums. for all other games you can just lurk.
Some things were just never meant to be.we were even locked out of the AAR threads. Something which was changed after serious protests.
Which sounds like this is a settled policy, which isn't going to be changed. Which is unfortunate, because the way I am, if I don't get into EU3 at the beginning---even if I don't actually have the game---I probably won't buy it later.Brasidas said:No, it's part of a trend that began with Diplomacy. I'm not sure it's the best business decision, either. I actually went to the Diplomacy forum thinking, "Maybe I should buy this game...hey, there's nothing here but AAR reports! This forum obviously isn't as active as the EU2 forum, so the game must be a flop. I won't bother getting it...." Clearly, confusion is a possible result of banning unregistered users from forums.![]()

Both the Mod and the Multiplayer fora are excellent advertizement for the game and restricting them to people who already have the game is..
Who runs marketing, anyway?
