There is also a great opportunity to incorporate a peasants estate for Scandinavian countries

Borgund Stave Church - Wikipedia

While I would like to make more mechanics and content for Scandinavia eventually, there will never be a sweden-norway or norway-denmark or sweden-denmark formable. Those sound like abonimations, and a united tag already exists for all of them in Scandinavia.
Yes I just saw that. They look cute! The spiders I mean.Borgund stave church is really beautiful, but the thing is that during the period this game represents no one cared about the stave churches. It was only from the 19th century (with the national romanticism) that people started to take interest in both them and the medieval period.
Pterinochilus is not a dinosaur but a genus of African tarantulas (I keep them as a hobby).
Nice to hear! I admit the combination of countries might be a bit odd, but also Denmark-Norway existed for many centuries during the game's time period. As a player, I feel the most needed feature for the region is complete national mission trees for the three Scandinavian countries. While I would like to make more mechanics and content for Scandinavia eventually, there will never be a sweden-norway or norway-denmark or sweden-denmark formable. Yeah, but Scandinavia is worse than any of the Scandinavian nations as it has no flavour, no ideas, no missions and no unique events. While I would like to make more mechanics and content for Scandinavia eventually, there will never be a sweden-norway or norway-denmark or sweden-denmark formable. And during development of which they take some time to redesign the native tribes of Greenland/SaharaI forgot to add, all that should be delivered in a super free nice on the house patch like the Manchu patch. Remember it? It was awesome. So much flavour to the Far East. I LOVE the Manchu patch.
Not a DLC that takes months/years to develop and we will all keep asking "When is it ready? Is it ready now? And now? And now? Etc.".
Ming always needs more rebels. There will never be enough nor too many rebels for Ming. And I don't care what Xi says.Probably possible.
This seems to be a bit unlikely though, considering how it was way outwith the game's timeline, and only lasted for like a century.
The -1 unrest and -15% construction cost is decent, and their second idea gives +20% manpower AND +20% sailors. +50% naval force limit also lets you spam even more light ships. The rest is indeed kinda meh though. B+ tier idea set, but only because Danemark can abuse their amazing navy to seal off the Danish straits.
Agreed, Scandinavia as a tag hasn't been touched since its release, and in its current iteration, is a complete downgrade for whoever forms it.
Interesting idea, although I'm doubtful if an elective monarchy would be balanced gameplay-wise, especially considering how Danemark starts off with TWO unions. You could go PU'ing everyone left and right, while simultaneously rolling for inheritance much more often than a normal monarchy.
The Sound Toll already gives a flat +20 trade power to Sjaelland already – should probably be improved on though. There's already an HRE incident about the Hansa and the Sjaelland toll, but as with all other HRE incidents it's uh... slightly lacking.
Also think that if someone builds the Kiel canal, the Sjaelland toll modifier should be removed.
There's another HRE incident for this, but it's once again, less than satisfactory. Could probably be expanded on.
You mean the Oirat patch that was supposed to fix the Mandate of Heaven but only managed to break it even further while buffing the already overpowered hordes?
Introducing a bunch of horde buffs, and even more rebels for Ming that do absolute jackshit if they take Quantity! And So of course. Fuck So.
