When will I be able to buy the game?

I have the money ready to buy it as soon as possible. But I have not seen any date of sale or any notice.

The game is still in Alpha, although extremly close to Beta.
When it enters Beta, it will stay so for 3~4 months, because they wanna polish the game hard.
So you have still a long wait ahead, before you can buy it. Just keep the money and get some interest rate on it.

Best case scenario is the game releases a year after its originally scheduled release date. It's probably time to start focusing more on what state it will release in as opposed to just when will it release. There are interesting decisions there for the developer. On one hand, you don't want to release the flagship title as a half finished mess, but on the other hand, since it is the flagship title, it (likely) has a huge investment/cost associated with it that can't be sat on indefinitely.

An different game with worse gameplay mechanics. They decided to rework some gameplay mechanics entirely which caused the delay.

It's a good thing they don't seem to have that kind of financial pressure now.

Looks at some of the early gameplay footage and previews that came out about a year or so ago.

It looks more polished and streamlined now.

I'd imagine there are bugs, but from the the last few WWW's the game engine at least seems pretty stable. But again who knows, if it didn't make the cut for Beta then the QA office thinks there are too many issues as it is right now. Most games have issues on launch anyhow since most developers can't predict every single user machine configuration out in the wild or just things that slip through the cracks from playing the game in more iterations that are possible outside of the testing lab.

Or it could be that it was submitted just before the holidays and there's no one to approve it right now.
