When will Eu5 coming?

you will not get any official or semi-official answer here anyway. just some tinfoil because of time between ck2 and 3 and people who think "its time" with a few additional people claiming that they would not buy eu5 if it has less content than 4.
and if i think about that... yeah.. i would say all of that
and while i like CK3 right now i would be sooo annoyed if eu 5 would go the same route with "accessibility" because of how shallow later Paradox games and DLC have become.. and if eu5 would only be eu4 with ck graphics.. why not a giant patch ^^ (obviously because money.. i know) - still i think i remember correctly in eu3 or 4.. a patch did update the graphic engine or something along those lines? Could anyone help remind me?

Just after (or before) Victoria 3 which we all know is released before (or after) EU5.

Because some people where shocked when ck2 ended and ck3 was announced. Those people turned to doomsayers and screamed that emperor will be the final dlc and that eu4 must end due to a similar age to ck2. This resulted in forum newcomers seeing eu5 threads on the frontpage for months and so they now think that a significant part of the community shares the sentiment that eu4 must end soon although it has been the same 5 people over and over (first posters aside)

EU3 had a graphics change to a flat map (from 3D) in its last expansion to ease up on the performance hit -- the game wasn't really planned* to support (wait for it) four(!) whole expansions.
*In case you ever wondered why EU3 had 2 gold/complete editions.

Your post reminded me of a social psychology experiment I once read about:
A bunch of monkeys with a small shocker on them were put in a room. Hanging in the middle of the room were a bunch of bananas with a ladder/staircase underneath them. Whenever a monkey tried to climb and reach the fruit the whole group was shocked. Soon enough they made the connection and whenever one tried to climb it was attacked by the others.
Afterwards, one of the monkeys was replaced by another. The new member did not about the shocks so it tried to reach the fruit, but was attacked by the others each time. One by one the whole original group was replaced. Even though none of the new monkeys were shocked at all the kept attacking each member that tried to reach the fruit without really knowing why.
I'll admit it may not be related to the thread's topic, but your post just reminded me of that (some details were fuzzy, but that's the gist of it).

I think EU5 is probably in some form of development, although probably only early planning stages. I don't think we'll hear anything this year or next year. Something might be announced in 2022.
I think EU5 will probably be pretty great; there's a lot to build on. But I'm in no rush to see it; I still have a lot to do in EU4.

I'm not sure I understood what you meant to say -- as that isn't really a secret.

Around a year before release, a month or two less.
But it has been in development for several years (actually started before Imperator). In contrast, a few months ago Johan said something of "when or if we make EU5" which kind of makes it sound like EU5 development had not even started.
That's, that's exactly what I wanted to know. So we can guess that EU5 is at least 2 years away, could be more.
So I guess I'll buy that Mare Nostrum DLC which I was looking for in the next sale. It would be pointless to buy if EU5 is close. I regret buying a CK2 DLC since I never used it and now CK3 is out....
Although I wonder why they would update CK but not EU. I thought EU has a similar number of users? The graphics of EU4 look quite dated in my MacBook, significantly inferior to hoi4 graphics (I don't have CK3).
