It seems to me one of the most interesting parts in history, with a reconstruction of the world after the Second World War, the colonial wars and the tension between the 2 blocks I think a cold war game in which diplomacy , trade and economy have a greater paper will (without leaving aside the military facet and nukes) sold like no other game of Paradox.
I think that a game like this would be the most loved by the community together with victoria 3

The only problem with Cold War game is there are still many people affected by it, it's hard to make the game without offending anybody which will affect the number of sales.

I think they were aware of that when they gave the green light for BL-Logic to develop East vs West. Which proves, that the problem is not as severe as one might think.

i was literally just thinking this. i suppose it could work if they mixed victoria 3 and hoi4 together with a sprinkling of complex characters like ck2. you have to control other peoples influences, etc.

once they have released victoria 3 and rome the only place they can really go is the cold war for a historical gsg

rather than hoi3 as its base, victoria 3 would be better, i have a strong feeling though that there will need to be more peacetime mechanics. anyone have any ideas? playing a character?
