When will AI peace out?

Im playing as Austria and currently enforcing my PU over Hungary. Hungarys allies are all fully occupied and peaced out and Hungary is aswell besides the 5 provinces that Poland occupied. They only occupied 1 fort so they only have 19 warscore. If I peace out Hungary now it will drag into a war with Poland-Lithuania. I want to prevent fighting them so when will the AI peace out Hungary?

Oh boy... You're probably in for a long wait, but try and find out what land Poland wants from Hungary. If they're already occupying most of it, they'll probably peace out when they have gained enough ticking warscore to take it.

If they're occupying land they don't want, they're probably not going to peace out unless you wait for a loooong time, or they're attacked by someone else.

I'm not sure what the exact formula is but I usually see the AI peace out when:

- it has decisively won (i.e. when it peaces out with boat loads of war score);
- it has maxed out its ticking war score without thinking it'll be able to do better (France tends to do that with England in the early game); or
- it reaches low war enthusiasm

In your case there's a good chance you'll need to wait out for low enthusiasm to kick in... which might mean taking some ticking war exhaustion for having decisively won.

Just wait, eventually pl will get call for peace or 100%(of what they occupy), and peace out. You may have to eat some war exhaustion while waiting/call for peace (aka pizza).

And you will get a nice reconquest cb on poland too!

The wargoal is Zemplen and they have a claim on Szepes. They have occupied Zemplen and i have occupied Szepes.
