I want to know under what circumstances an AI client state will move its capital.
I'm playing an HRE game (revoked privilegia) and have formed an OPM client state inside the Empire (by coring a province, adding it to the HRE then granting it to a client state). The objective is to keep the client state as an HRE vassal so that it doesn't take up a diplomatic slot, however I'm concerned that if I feed it land outside of the Empire that it'll shift its capital and therefore cease being an HRE vassal.
Anyone know anything about this? I'm aware that certain nations have "fixed" capitals (though this shouldn't be relevant in the case of client states), though I have a feeling that the AI may move its capital to a more developed province.
