When we are we getting a China expansion?

China? Don't think its gonna happen (but hey, Umbra Spherae for that).

The most map expansion I could see would be possibly a little further into Africa (Great Zimbabwe vs. the Fatimids?), including adding Kanem-Bornu into the area of the map that already exists but is currently empty, and perhaps on a somewhat larger scale we could possibly push a little further east into India, and allow for Persians to actually seek some of the old empire's lands over in that direction.

And I guess if they ever bothered, we could have a crappy splattering of holdings in the northwest for Greenland. Personally, I'd love to see any of these three... but Greenland is the biggest omission. Sure, its a frozen craphole, but it was a frozen craphole colonized by Europeans... and if Norse pagans are every playable, it'd be an absolute crime to not have one of the old faith's last strongholds in the game, just waiting for some Pagan warlord to use it as his ice stronghold where he plots the downfall of Jesus.

China really needs its own game because it is utterly boring to play in any paradox game until ww2. In vicky 2 and EU3 it needed special treatment just to get it to fit into the dynamics of the rest of the world.

I believe that there are only few regions which are actually popular enough among the gamers. For example, while I find Aborginal myths about the Dreamtime interesting, I doubt that many people would buy game where you play as ancient Aboriginal clan. I might buy it however, at least if it's as good as my favourite clan simulator; King of Dragon Pass.
