I am playing the Ottomans and I can claim the throne of Crimea, who has a weak heir. If I do claim the throne, does that mean that, if their Khan dies while I still have the claim, my Sultan will become Crimea's Khan, or will Crimea's weak heir take control while I get to fight a succession war against them?

Also, I would like to end my RMs with certain countries without taking a stab hit. Do they automatically end every time one of our rulers die? Or is it when one of our heirs die?

Claiming their throne when they have a weak heir serves no real purpose unless they're already your dynasty. He will still rise to the throne, maybe with some extra pretenders, but he'll have plenty of those anyway being a horde and all :D

If he is your dynasty you'll get a CB to enforce a pu on him though, so then it is a good idea.

RM's can end when one of you changes dynasty on ruler death or when an underage heir comes of age. The game somehow views the end of a regency council as a dynasty change as well. I think if you change dynasty to theirs it doesn't end, and there might be other exceptions as well.

Okay, thanks!
