Interesting Facts:
The Papacy of this timeline had descended into a state of total depravity, beginning with the Pople Anacletus the Generous and Pope Evaristus, who had illegitimate children with the same woman! This marked only the beginning of the decline of the Papacy, evidenced by the ascension of Pope Clement the Ugly, former Roman Emperor Romulus Augustus, whose usurpation of the Western Empire and its temporary transformation into a Theocratic state was an appalling power grab from the supreme pontiff. This was followed by Pope Paschal the Rich, who horded gold to himself. Following his murder, power fell to Anacletus II, the illegitimate child of Marina, daughter of Pope Anacletus the Generous! Pope Sisinnius the Recluse hid from the public eye, so his death was quickly followed by Stephen, a virtuous man whose 3 month rule ended with a death to illness. Pope Hilarius, though not of sound moral character, was vastly contrasted to Pope Sylvester the Wicked, who was placed on the Papal throne by Skirians themselves. His wickedness, Skirian background, and illegal conquest of the
throne of St. Peter ruined the moral integrity of the church, causing Apollinarian heretics, a longtime power in Campania, to violently rebel against the Nicene Church. the resulting wars led to two mighty states to rise from the ashes, and the Papacy to lose its vassalship to Italy.

Currently, tensions are gone between the two states, who stand against Nicene invasion as one force.

Though the majority Mimamsa made some early resistance, it quickly was consumed by the syncretic Hepthalite religion.
