Hello all. I've read most of your AAR's and that game looks very good. I am so confused, that i missed beta testing. Here is so much topics, so i cant read them all. I have a few questions also. Is it possible in GC to conquer all Sibir and Far East and meet then japanese samurai's? Is it possible to open all globe before end of game or some territory still be Terra Incognita?
Also i hear that army have commanders. Are they was taken from real commanders? Is commanders characteristics grow up after some victorious battles? Are troops gaine some experience? Can you give to your armies some tactic orders before battle?
For now my last question is in SUBJ. Those AAR's are very interesting, but most peoples here, i hope :D, want play it by own.
Also, as russian, i know Russian history, and you can ask me if here become some contestable questions.

I might have some answers to some of your questions.

Is it possible in GC to conquer all Sibir and Far East and meet then japanese samurai's?

Almost the whole world is there and if it is colonized you can counqer and you may meet the migth of the Shogun.

Is it possible to open all globe before end of game or some territory still be Terra Incognita?

Yes it is! altough some areas will still be terra incognito if I got it all right.

Also i hear that army have commanders. Are they was taken from real commanders?

I´ll guess that you mean if the commanders are historical accurate when it comes to their abilitys on the field, yes it is as close as it can come.

Are troops gaine some experience?

They get better morale that´s sure and they get better in combat to due to training and mabye from combat to.

And the game will be released in scandinavia this (autuom,Fall)Arrghh my english is terrible) first and then to the rest of the world.

Ah... Both Scandinavia AND Europe at the same time? Isn't that a bit like saying London AND England?? :)

Ah, never mind. Hi! I'm new to this group... I just found this game ... 30 minutes ago and I was stunned. This is simply amazing, can't wait for it to come out! This is exactly the kind of game I've been waiting for...

Yes thank you....?
Most (in fact all of) your replies concern military tactics (yawn). Does anyone have a decent or accurate report on when this game at last BLOODY comes out (and I hate to swear).

Autumn?!? And they closed the beta in february. Have to say, Im all in favour of proper beta testing - Ive had it up to here with &*!^!?* games companbies that expect paying players to beta test for them - but isnt that kinda a long time? Have there been serious problems with it?

Autumn is what they wrote in their newsletter, and you never know of any delays that might come.
If there is anything I´v learn is that too many games don´t come when they are supposed to, but this one looks so great so I forgive them for any delays.

Ahh..

I love it. Go on every forum board of an official website where the game has still not been released and you'll find whingers of the same sort there as I've just read in this thread :)

I feel for you, believe me. Hey I used to be one until the int. beta test :)

However, I can tell you that the testers are working exceedingly hard trying to help Johan tweak the game to make it as best as possible.

Just take a look at the number of posted msgs in the beta discussion forum, its extremely active and we're constantly thinking of or developing new ideas about twitching the game, which by the way is very close to completion.

In the meantime, keep posting to the forums (asking whatever questions you want), testers or ppl from Paradox will always answer you. Read the AAR section of the website (will be updated with 2-3 more AAR's ASAP) and find some OTHER games to occupy you until this is finished! :)
