How on earth does anyone arrive at the conclusion that the South is even remotely like the Rebel Alliance of Star Wars?

*not subscribing, sorry.*

The south is acctually more like The Separatists, but I don't think this has to do anything with this story, I think it's more The North that is like The Evil Empire!

As far as I can tell, it's not inteded to be a serious comparison. Lighten up, it's funny.

Lighten up, dude. It's all in good fun.

1861

Mar 22 - The Richmond Accords. Representatives of the new nations meet in Richmond to establish spheres of influence and work out claims on the former US territory. The result:

All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die.

And he was gone. The nation mourned.

Oct 19 - An ambassador from New England arrived.

Ambassador: What? but don't you have slaves?

Davis: Yeah. See, here's a few now.

Dec 7 - The German Empire forms.

Dec 22 - Positivism discovered.

And indeed, the citizens of the Confederacy had much to be positive about. As the #15 nation on Earth, the CSA was the second strongest in the Americas. The CSA stands to become a Great Power in the near future.

Finally got around to catching back up here, Rocketman. You are doing well. Though my wife/sister and I take offense at some of your jokes regarding the South. She and I, and our father, considered a boycott, however cousin Billy came down out of the mountains with a jug of moonshine and a fresh deer so we made chili instead and played banjo's until 3am. Ran out of beer too and got the truck stuck in the mud at the end of the driveway. Someday, we may put down some gravel. Anways, it takes me two to three days just to read one update so I'll be back in a couple of weeks. :p ;)

Hey, what happened to the invasion of Cuba? I'd say that's the first strike.

And did the purchase of the Bahamas and the shark come with either Michael Caine or Mario Van Peebles? If so, the CSA got screwed! I like to pretend that movie never happened.
