When is the next level for buying the next plot of land after the 85k one?

9 plots for vanilla dude
Tile mods are available but ask some here to give system requirments, as they quite intensive on RAM and CPU

Against all odds, since I upgraded to 16GB of RAM, it's running well.

I am sure that the more I am adding the pressure, the slowest it will become, but I want to grow my city as much as I can.

What's the MoD then?

well 25 tiles is rendered in vanilla but you only get to fill 9
Id suggest just making your city bigger is not what you should concentrate on, making the city better, not bigger
particulary if you skimming minimum,
xbone unofficial max is 120-150k pop, then path finding just trolls CPU and ram runs out, leaving HD to do too much

I dont know the name of the mod most people use,
but i do know it will rip your pc / make it warm if you fill those tiles

Wow, that's the bazooka! ;-) The next logical (and afaik more stable) step would be to go from 9 to 25 tiles. PurchaseIt works quite well for that. I recommend expanding one tile after the other so that you notice when you put too much load on your system!
Thanks, I have already discovered and purchased all the 25 tiles! I also got the one for 81 tiles but I kept it inactive for now.

Just be aware that aside from much larger cities straining your hardware, that other things can also go awry. Services can be called from anywhere in the city, and as you get more tiles, things like hearses and ambulances can have to travel even greater distances, which can give your city some grief. Maybe not a showstopper, but something to keep in mind.

You may want to unsubscribe the 81-tiles mod. It is a resource hog and it may still put a load on your system as it is still loaded at game launch.

Besides, you will max the game at 25-tiles from exceeding the 9-tiles and stressing the CPU to track all of the extra cims on most maps.

The 81 tiles mod is inactive at the moment. I might just never activate it, as with 9 tiles my city was bunkers, now I even reached the tree limit (I'll delete lot of spare ones), so I'll probably just start a new city soon, on a different map.

I've never hit that limit, but I've always assumed that trees hidden under roads and buildings still count, so I have always bulldozed them before building.

I have done massive bulldozing because I love building new parks!
I use my internal park structure as pedestrian walk throughs to and from transit
I make them all free cause i consider charging people for them about as criminal as charging people for health care

You probably won't like this fee system either.

well i didnt make a cut into fangorn forest utopia to then bleed my plebs dry,
Dam if i didnt put some CO2 in my city my trees would die. My pops are drunk on O2

thats like charging people to go toilet, get their own cash into there hand, charging small businesses for change / change deposits
Its a better design than most ive seen, ive seen it done with toll roads also.

Yeah, I forgot to say it is a parklife toll, but it is students paying the tolls. All schools are on the other side, with some commerce. But, it is mostly all students. So, if they want educated, mom & pops are gonna pay through the nose, lol

Healthcare is always charged through taxation.4Going to the parks, I charge anything from £3 to £10, depending on the size of the park.
Parks have expenses and someone has to pay for them ;)
My city has barely any walk throughs and I actually never thought to use then taht way.
I only put a couple of walkways just to fill up empty land, which I despise.
I normally build everything to the last tile available.
