For example it's +26 and -36, so I need 10 more warscore. I offer him some gold, but he wants other concessions and suddenly has -1000, why?

Most of the time they want annul treaties, war reparation and if this is war leader you can sometimes see sth like this: want x province as part of the peace deal if you hover over why AI won't accept offer. If you're small they might get modifier "want to annex" of if it is horde they will want to vassalize you.For example it's +26 and -36, so I need 10 more warscore. Ah, the time-tested solution of screwing over allies so you don't have to take a hit. In a Genoa ==> Italy game I forced Hungary to release Bulgaria this way, which I ended up eating.First of all, you see the thumbs up or down icons saying if the oponent would appreciate the gift or not.... oddly enough not appreciating gold means a huge negative rather then a neutral, which is strange....
On the other hand, in my current papal game yesterday I got in a HUGE punative war against me, lead by Moscovy, and craploads of minors... Please do not laugh now but on my side I had the entire PLC, France, Austria (including PU Hungary), and we still got our ass kicked, the reason though being that the russians was massinvading Lithuania and Livonian order (my just aquired vassal), bring up the warscore a lot against us...
Sometimes from a great battle the warscore was up in the 0 region, but sometimes diped to -20/-30 region.... so I was looking at buying myself out... anything except releasing the Livonians... paying.. no... releasing some minors I had eaten in Italy.. no... concede defeat, yeah that actuall got me some part of the way as acceptable, but not enough... and then I see the green thumbs up for releasing Pskov, which had been entirelly anexed by Lithuania.... at 85% value Moscovy accepted right away... and it cost me absolutelly nothing.... The Lithuanians hated me at -150, but that was from me no-CB attacking the Livs and vassalizing them and not at all from giving up their territory.. and that mattered not at all as they were ruled by Poland that still loved me....
Yeah, that doesn't make sense. Especially if this enemy is close to losing he doesn't want to get some extra money (motivating him to peace out earlier). After a year of gaining nothing he changes his opinion and doesn't get any gold. Gold should be more important imo.I think it's a measure they put in so you couldn't just pay individual enemies out of your wars.
Hover over the red cross and it should read smth like 'doesn't want gold' or 'won't betray allies for gold' or some such.
