When I read about Victoria stuff, what is different in Revolutions?

I guess this might sound like a weird question, but I am starting to play Victoria, and have started with Revolutions. So when I read stuff on the forum, I'm not sure if it applies to "plain" Victoria or if it applies to Revolutions or what?

Like the "newbie" guides seem to be all written for "plain" Victoria, not Revolutions, so I'm not sure what applies and what doesn't.

I have played USA from 1836 and got through the Civil War (on easy...) with no problem, but I wanted to change some of the politics, etc. I can tell this game is super deep, so I kind of want to know what I'm doing when I start messing around with the POP's, etc.

Which guide will tell me where to start? The "Memnon" one? Is there one that is best for Revolutions?

For getting started with Revolutions, I recommend reading OHgamer's Prussian AAR.

He's using VIP, a user-made mod for Revolutions, but most of the stuff applies for vanilla Revolutions as well. He explains a lot of the micromanagement, which is pretty much the hard part of the game.

I knew I would get excellent advice...

Use of the forum should be mandatory for people playing these games. I actually can't imagine NOT having it. (I vividly remember the first night playing HoI2 - what a disaster...)
