When do you get access to CK2?

I just purchased EUIV and saw that I also would get Crusader Kings.
Just one question, do I get the game 1 of august(tomorrow) or when EUIV is released?

Might be a dumb question but I'm not so fluent in English.

And by the way, what does the package "Star and Crescent" contain? I purchased the ordinary game and not the Digital Extreme Edition, but is it something big I'm missing?

When EUIV is released.

Star and Crescent- 50 new Muslim themed event pictures, as well as several new events for the Muslim nations

I'm not too sure about CK2, but Star and Crescent contains some additional Muslim event pictures and Muslim-specific events. If you like playing Muslim nations, it's probably worth getting.

That's kinda strange, why wouldn't they just give CK2 instantly? I suppose it makes sense as refunding pre-ordered games is much easier than refunding games that are already on your Steam account.

I take this to mean that we get it on August 1st. But I could be wrong

no you get CKII instantly. I just preordered the extreme edition on gamersgate and I'm able to download CKII. I was also able to register it.

Edit= I purchased it on august 1...explains why it was available right away...please excuse me while I bash my head against the wall...so stupid..

Nah, CKII is still not available (for me at least) on Steam.

So looking on the Steam forums it looks like it should be the 1st, and it will be added to the pre-order bonuses to EU IV on the 1st. I've seen Steam work a little strange with these kinds of things every since its inception. Though to those of you who have never used it before, don't be too concerned, Steam anymore is stable and doesn't have too many problems like it used to.
