My whois investigation suggests that Paradox doesn't own the domain victoria3.com, but they own crusaderkings5.com and europauniversalis7.com. It seems to indicate that there won't be a V3 anytime soon. Of course there could be another name for a Victorian era game, or they could buy up the domain at the last minute.

victoria3game.com is registered to Paradox.

Probably does not mean that much, though.

didnt we only get it because of a poll in the forum for which game the fans want next. i remember the head of paradox at the time didnt think it would make a profit and bet that if it made profit he would shave his head. what's great though is that this game ended up being much more successful and i believe victoria 3 will do even better.

Yes, and that very same man has come to hate us all for the humiliation that we put him through. He is holed up near the Arctic Circle now wearing an itchy woolen hate to protect his clean-shaven head from the fearful cold plotting his revenge upon us all.
