Almost a year ago. February I think. I looked for HoI and got it at the same time but I have played so many times more of EUII that I'm still a newbie to HoI :wacko:

That happened to me, too. By the time I got around to deciding to finally use my neglected copy of HoI, HoI 2 was announced! :rofl:

2004. I discovered EU2 when I was on a Civ forum and someone had an EU2 AAR in the forum. I thought, hmmm, this game looks interesting. Since then I've played EU2 the most of all my games, and I've bought CK, Vicky, and KoH, my friend bought HOI2, and I'm planning on buying Diplomacy.

Remember that exactly - august 2002 (EU1 was released free some months ago,so amazed with that one i HAD TO try EU2 ). Only problem was,that by that time i was starting in my new job,which expected me to work some 25 hours a day..which posed some problems,is playing had the priority,of course

You know what is really surprising? That so many people buys this game even so many years after is has been released... it looks like quite unique position

P.S. this real story happened more or less the way I described it. Only, of course, my comp was way too old and I had already decided to get another one (upgrading? only when comp is old, not way too old) before setting my eyes on EU2. EU2 just made me get one quicker. Now....
