When can we pre-purchase? Ideas for pre-purchase....

A couple of thoughts I had recently....
1) Is there going to be a pre-purchase?
2) If there is going to be a pre-purchase...can you perhaps let those of who pre-purchase and have not been lucky enough to beta test...in on the testing?
3) Costs of said pre-purchase?

I am just throwing this out there to see what everyone thinks and to see if any of the devs care to comment.

1. Yes, it should be available for pre-order. As for when, only Paradox knows. If i were to guess, i'd say when they have nailed down a release date.
2. Paradox does not do "early access" or "open betas". There was a beta application round a while ago, and im sure they have all the volunteers they could ever hope for, hehe.
3. Again, only Paradox knows. I would expect it to be on par with their other new titles on release (CK2, EU 4).

Thank you for answering. I didn't recall them doing early access or open beta, but hoped my memory had failed me somehow. I did sign up for the beta...but didn't draw the golden ticket. I know they are working as fast as they can and the weekly videos look great! I can't thank the dev team enough for keeping us in the loop and showing us (for better or worse) changes/issues that come up during their game play. I loved it that Stalin wasn't in charge of The Soviet Union in their game (nor was FDR President of The USA). I think variables like that will really help replay issues.

I remember reading somewhere that you'll only be able to pre-purchase on Steam once the release date is announced. I expect the release date to be about 1 month after the announcement and pre-purchases open.
