I believe they said roughly a month before release. The game is released on June 6th.

Therefore you should be able to pre-order in early May.

Normally, I would advocate avoiding pre-orders, generally speaking, since unscrupulous companies tend to take advantage of people that way. For that matter, I tend to really dislike DLC as well.

Things are different in Paradox land, I think. Due to their good track record, communication with fans, and obvious skill at game design, I think that pre-ordering Stellaris will be a pretty safe bet. So will HoI4, for that matter.

/\ Agreed. I only preorder from 2 companies. PDS and CDPR. And even then, I'll likely only "PrePurchase" the day before launch. I see no benefit to handing over £40 months in advance, when that £40 could be sitting in my account earning me interest.

I really hope so. After the cancellation of EvW and finding that the latest release is unplayable, I wanna play HoI4...
