I know there is mods for that but I don't like mods since you can't get achievements with them.
I'm 46/55 so far trying the Deus Vult but all the others are random achievements so it may take a while.get all the achievements , then mod...
Because the game isn't a SciFi and is 100% accurate, I know that because I work in the Station building Corvettes. When NASA finds a new shape of galaxy
Something new, for example:Yeah well either that or when the devs look to expand in that area. What particular galaxy shape are you looking for?
That was just a random pic, all I want is something new, something different, could be for example a ring galaxy with 2 rings 1 in the midle connected in North, South, East, west, radom shapes, geometrical shapes, etchate to break it to you, that's elliptical shaped
More than four arms, three arms, in-game spiral configuration, galaxies in varying stages of collision, isolated globular clusters, multiple small-ish spiral galaxies, wormholes linking them so every FTL type can reach from one to the other. OP's picture has lots of cool structure, filaments of stars and gas, etc.
You know. Choke points. Space terrain stuff. I'm all for it.
Choke points only exist for one type of FTL travel. Globular clusters dont support life.
Your colliding galaxies idea though, that would be cool.
The Magellanic Clouds would be cool for a visual effect but they're described as gas-rich; and metal-poor. So its doubtful that there's anything close to habitable planets.Multiple galaxies. Like the Milky Way and the Magellanic clouds.
Globular cluster stars are too old and small to produce the heavier metals found in our portion of the galaxy. Without these metals, life looks doubtful.I should clarify the whole wormhole idea. The suggestion is that natural wormholes would bridge the wide gaps between different clusters/galaxies on a map. The gaps would be large enough that none of the FTL types could cross the gap without using these natural wormholes. This would create choke points for all FTL types.
There is no scientific consensus that globular clusters do not support life, and this is a science fiction video game. Lets not hem in our setting.
