Even when Hearts of Iron 4 comes out, I will continue to play Darkest Hour.

HOI4 strays too far from historical accuracy to be enjoyable imho, because it ruins immersion.

Good gameplay shouldn't come at the sacrifice of accuracy. Good historical accuracy inherently brings good gameplay.

Right now I am playing Empire: Total War and Fallout 4.

I have been playing an unhealthy amount of World of Warships. It is the best Wargaming game by far: it doesn't immediately cause my inner historian to start coughing up blood.
I rage quitted on WoT a few years ago, the orbital lasers of doom, oh the horror.

World of Warships any better then WoT, no orbital lasers of doom in the form of submarines?

WoWS doesn't have anything like artillery from WoT. Destroyers, battleships, cruisers and carriers can nuke a ship, but the ship in question has to have done something to deserve it. I.E. allowed a destroyer to get into point blank range, not changing speed and maneuvering from time to time (torpedoes take a long time to reach the target from beyond detection range, so they miss if the target changes heading or speed), going off on your own lacking AA, or sailing full broadside to battleships/cruisers firing AP. Idiots whine about carriers, but you can typically mitigate a lot of potential damage carriers put out by turning into the torpedo bombers and maximising the time they spend in your AA range trying to line up a shot. Alternatively, you can stick in a group, ideally with a cruiser that has the AA defensive fire ability. Carriers themselves play like a basic RTS, and there is a lot of skill involved in lining up good attacks while trying to avoid enemy fighters or excessive amounts of AA.

Exactly how I feel, HoI2 is so good, and every time I finish a campaign I force myself to try HoI3 again, every time I last 5 minutes before going "fuck this I'm out"

Dark Souls 2. Still 6 bosses to go, I hope the finals bosses aren't as easy like in the first one, Four Kings, Nito and Gwyin were too easy.

I would play EU4 but don't know why, or what hapened but the game is super slow.
