What's your favourite among the new German formables?

Emperor DLC introduced a good bunch of new formable tags in the German region. Bavraria, Franconia, Swabia, Westphalia, or Hanover perhaps too? Pomerania. My question is, considering idea, geography, opportunites, flavour... which one of them is your favourite?

It is not completely new (then again neither is westphalia), but the update to give Germany actual ideas, and mission tree, finally made it worth forming.

Best is Prussia, othert than that Bavaria is great, from the missions as it sachsen, best is though Bohemia into the Saxons, slash Pruissa. The Pus alone are insane with Bohemia and good to get.

bavaria has very unique missions, prussia is op mil, rügen into pomerania makes for an awesome pirate republic, hannover is cool(also i was born there) but i wish there was a way to change your dynasty name to "von Hannover", even tho it was still the welfish dynasty, the branch ruling during the eu4 lategame that also ruled GB was called von hannover. well dynasties have always been awful in eu4 so i guess that wont be fixed.
the other german formables are probably alright too but i havent played them yet because i dont like southern germany, this also counts for bavaria but their mission tree is too nice to not play them
the best german tag is dithmarschen btw no contest

Edit: if i have to chose one of the formables its hannover, its strong, its where i am from and its color is very nice

Silesia. It has a really hard start, as they are vassals of Bohemia, but that is what makes our game challenging.

I tried once Switzerland into Swabia and it really sucks... It is a very poor formable nation, I was hoping for a Hannover-kind of powerful nation but it is not worth it. So yeah, I stick to Hannover.

Wouldn’t it be cool if player could form The Hansa with Hamburg or Lübeck? it is a shame we lost the tag.

At the end of their mission trees you get renamed to The Hanseatic League. Similar to The Caliphate and Kingdom of God.

If Germany was a formable earlier then Germany. Sure, the ability to form Germany may be harder, but Germany was a kingdom in the middle ages before it became the HRE. Plus, when Charlemagne died, his realm was split into East Francia (Germany), Middle Francia (Lotharingia) and West Francia (France). France is an instant formable (You can form France if it doesn't exist), Lotharingia is a unique formable from only one set of missions (Sadly, just Burgundy and not any of the Lowlanders, Nevers or Rhinelanders) and Germany is only formable in adm 20.

Lorraine can form lotharingia. The ideas are severely op so it's okay it's rare. The kingdom of Germany is awhile after Charlemagne, especially with bavaria not breaking off for good

It is ok, though, Germany is an Endgame tack, for the late game, you can easily form it with admin tech 20 and you get claims on all of Central and Nothern Europe. Plus insane ideas part with their mission trees and earlier Missions from the countries you form it with. Hell you can form it as austria now. It is simply one of the best tags in game, where u can get 5 admin efficency withouth hassle and another 5 are in the missions. Plus production buffs and efficency all over the board. I think tech 20 is reasnoable early. (Though HRE is better atm it is just not fun to form/the broken 1.30 wasnt fun and now it is the other way, too tidious to form)

I didn't know Lorraine could form Lotharingia. I thought it was exclusive to Burgundy

The tag isn't technically lost though, just renamed. Lubeck still HSA and like others said you get a rename event from the missions.

Personally I like quality over quantity army building so Prussia is still my favorite German formable even though I always have to edit the save file to get the proper color.

I mean the Hansa is pretty waky at the moment, wich is a shame, I think they butchered the Lübeck missions pretty bad, and no achievment, wich is also annoying, they deserve one.

Yes. People said it makes no sense for Lorraine not to be able to form it since Lorraine is what's left of it when it being part of the Burgundy tree was announced way back when.
