But wouldn't it be more useful if you all made a conclusion with or without help from Paradox staff on whether or not China should be united in-game or not?
You are analyzing 1 out of the 2 possible choices Paradox will make, so all this could end up in nothing if they say that China will just remain united as they currently have it.

The decisions about China were made a while back.

In all honesty, this thread, if the devs see it or care, would be in DLC.

But I agree that the maps are showing a bit too much autonomy. It's more of a CK2 feudal structure than anything. By 1936, CKS didn't have rivals as much as underlings who may or may not give full throated support.

Why do I do it? Because I will be making a mod with releaseable countries, of which some of these warlord states could be some, and that mod will also adjust borders.
This thread has a lot of people with knowledge of China and I am milking their knowledge while also debating the unity of China.

Seriously "don't say x" criticisms are always silly. Don't tell others what is worth saying

Hi guys just wandering if the philipines is a playable nation in HOI 4?? i mean even though we are scheduled as to be an independent nation in 1949 yet it was delayed Philippines has its own government and its own army tho its just a protectorate of US not a full blown colony
