What's wrong with my battle scenario

I've tried creating a battle scenario, and double-checked everything I can think of, but whenever I try to load it the damn thing just won't move past a certain point. It doesn't freeze, it doesn't give an error, it just never moves past "loading scenario"!

I've tried to make the scenario as minimalist as possible, no IC or infra or units; hardly any events, yet I'm flummoxed as to what could be wrong!

Check closing brackets '}', make sure each set of brackets are paired in all your inc files.

That is generally the major cause of 'hanging' during loadup.
EDIT: (usually forgetting to add the final closing bracket in an inc file)

I checked all the brackets - no luck!

Geez, this is a pain. I just wish this debugging wasn't such a series of shots in the dark.

I believe I've deduced the error! It was one so obvious yet subtle that it escaped my attention.

In the .inc files for each nation, I put commas between each province that they were supposed to own.
