they don't give the reason to review, so there is no new info and easy to be missed.Thanks. Somehow I skipped over that multiple times when I thought I was being very careful to read the whole thing before I asked.

CA in real life is never a better heavy attack option. That's BB for. They didn't spam CA but build bigger BB.Won't they still be the better heavy attack option than BC/BB?
Within the context of the question I was answering, I don't care about the historical examples. They're talking about meta in the game, so we really only have to consider the meta within the game. Historicity might be a good reason to bend the stats and such towards favouring BB over CA, but we aren't currently there and haven't received much indication we're actually going to get there. Wait out on latest from higher, I guess.CA in real life is never a better heavy attack option. That's BB for. They didn't spam CA but build bigger BB.
Frankly both CLs and CAs should have been their own medium gun category from the start rather than split up IMHO. Same with being a separate battle line and target compared to light screens or capital shipsCA in real life is never a better heavy attack option. That's BB for. Putting heavy attack on it makes it a heavy cruiser. What is it that decide if are a light cruiser and heavy? When have enough Naval exp and finish research on 1940 cruisers i go crazy sometimes and create different kinds. Light cruisers as uboat hunters. Heavy cruisers with lots of medium guns. I Even tried a cruiser design with as many AA guns i could fit. But that cruiser ended up as a heavy with only 5 navy manufactering slots.
Only difference is the gun, if it has medium guns its a heavy cruiser. What is it that decide if are a light cruiser and heavy?
