What's the fastest way to get the conversion event?

So I have had an antipope for a while now solely to reduce moral authority of Catholicism. I invited a Waldensian to court only to stupidly land him. Then I invited a Cathar to court. Neither converted anybody in my court. My chaplain has been on research duty which gives the possibility that the event will trigger where he converts to a heresy and ask you to convert also. So far no luck there. I'm just sitting there waiting.


Anyone know how I can trigger the event to convert any faster?

I assume these heretics you invited have been tutoring children and such and not just sitting around idle?

No they haven't been tutoring. Their stats and traits are aweful.

If all you are interested in is spreading heresy, then have them tutor peoples children where possible, if your vassals all become hertics, then thier lands will convert too soon enough.

I see, I never thought to tutor my vassals unless they are of my dynasty. That's a good idea. Still need to convert myself though.

For me, the event happened two times, in the same month.

The same bishop, turned Lollard. Told me to convert, I say hell no, and threw him into jail.

I demanded his conversion back to Catholisiscim, and released him. A week later, he tried to convert me to be Fracitelli.

That time, I executed him
