When I remember correctly Johan/Podcat said they want it EUIV style.
Every 6 to 9 months a major DLC with some Sprites and stuff.

But i dunno when and where he said that.

At least that was the plan. I dont know how well that works with HOI IV.

We aim to release 2-3 big expansions every year, with dozens of smaller dlc accompanying them.

After all, thats what you guys prefer, and why we can have bigger teams with dedicated QA these days.

here you go. That quote reffers to HoI IV, not EUIV just to avoid any confusion.

Like eu4/ck2.. No clue on content yet for postrelease, as i prefer to design them after the game is finished and after seeing what the community desires.

I think there will be a bit more unitpaks for hoi4 compared to eu though, as its so many different types here.

The problem with that is, that the pilots dont gain experience but have an chance of generating aces, which you can assign to squadrons to boost their combat efficiency. Unless something has changed of course.

They're a company, not a charity. They exist to make money and are beholden only to the interest of money. Like it or not, that's how every company that doesn't go out of business operates.
And it's exactly how they operated with CKII and EUIV

I know that but its insufficient in comparison to the now beautiful Land troop system. You could see aces as replacement for Air-Generals - which is fine, but the very important topic of pilot training before the war is atm primitive....you build a plane, put it from reserve on the map and tadaaaa a pilot jumps from the bushes and flies it......no lengthy pilot training, nothing.

They're a company, not a charity. They exist to make money and are beholden only to the interest of money. Like it or not, that's how every company that doesn't go out of business operates.
And it's exactly how they operated with CKII and EUIV
As fun as it is playing Mr. Cynical, believe it or not there are game devs that aren't just constantly thinking about "MONEY MONEY MONEY".
