Started playing Hearts of Iron 2 as a 14 year old and I've pretty much been devoted to strategy ever since.
Really interesting thread although it is probably a bit off statistically because of our inherent boastful nature.

47 and architect, turned architectural illustrator. I have loved strategy games and historical warfare ever since I played with 'little plastic soldiers' when I was 6. Star Wars was a massive derailment but historical strategy games have fought back to gain my favour again lately.

I wasn't sure if I should buy EUIV until I looked at my "total hours played" on steam for EUIII. Close to 400. That's a lot for me since getting out of school and starting a family etc. geez. I'm an addict and I just enabled myself.
