Great changes!
But... nothing about the broken notifications? Notably
1) No notification of peace deals when allied in a war;
2) No notification of cardinal death for "others";
3) No pause on events.
That doesn't seem very important but that can be very annoying! Actually the lack of notification for any move in the Curia makes the papal influence system utterly broken.
Pause on events would be a hassle in MP games
1) Is fixed.
Awesome. How are we supposed to praise you if you don't write it?![]()
Can you make him an admiral and send him out to open sea for a few months? That would only count as -1 I guess.Agreed. Now how am I gonna get rid of Henry VI?
No changes about cultural conversion ?
I'm not enemy of current setup but there was a lot of fuss about it on forum .
What does AE stand for?
Ideally it could be set on or off. But that's the least important of the three, yes.
Edit: Yeah, thank you Wiz! Does that mean still nothing about 2) or you just don't know? Could someone in the team explain the Papal game in details please because it looked kind of broken (youngest cardinal entering the Curia etc.) but maybe it's only because we didn't get how it really works. They never tell you Papal Influence is capped, for instance.
Pause on events would be a hassle in MP games. Totally agree on the 2 others

I only know 1) is fixed. Don't know about the rest. If the OP listed all the bugs we fixed since the demo it'd be a pretty long OP...
There is an 80% reduction cost for overseas provinces. These are the only provinces that one should culture convert barring truly exceptional circumstances, since there are so many better uses for DMP. The fuss is because any mechanic that deals with culture is hugely controversial, and culture conversion even more so, due to different people's different beliefs regarding what culture represents.I really don't understand what the fuss is about. It never seemed to be worth spending the diplo power in my demo games, so I just never did it and lived with the slight cultural penalty instead. Definitely something you might want to do on a small scale but that would be moronic if you're the Ottomans, for instance (there are much better things to do with these thousands of diplo points). Is the cost lower outside of Europe? I couldn't know as Portugal since Berber was an accepted culture anyway ^^
...due to different people's different beliefs regarding what culture represents.
Hah! Good one!Or, in short, we have differing Culture cultures, and conversion of them is decidedly difficult.![]()
