So Venice bound to loose stability very 4 years?????
its not a monarcy though.
Yeah and a dying ruler is not a replaced ruler as far as I know

Good to everything else, but this just sounds far too punishing.
- Borderfriction now depends on the size of borders two countries share, and unless you are historical friends, this will cause some antagonism.
Elections are not considered monarch deaths. So Venice bound to loose stability every 4 years?????

- It is much more difficult to inherit larger realms, and its pretty much impossible to inherit a greater power.
Far too punishing for letting your king die on purpose? No, this is a very good balance change. I applaud it.
godd to knowElections are not considered monarch deaths.
How is historical friendship defined in game terms? Is it states which were buddy-buddy in history like GB-Portugal, or is it say having 100+ opinion for 50 years or something similar?
I wonder if this has anything to do with Sweden usually getting inherited by Denmark?
What's the fun in getting a cool new 6-stat ADM monarch if you have to spend the first part of his reign repairing the damage caused by his accession?
It diminishes the fun of getting a new monarch and it's unnecessarily frustrating. What's the fun in getting a cool new 6-stat ADM monarch if you have to spend the first part of his reign repairing the damage caused by his accession?
Or, worse, you have to waste all the points your 6-ADM monarch saved up repairing the damage caused by his untimely death.

Sometimes I think some of you guys don't like a challenge.
Also, the AI plays by the same rules. So you're not really losing compared to everyone else.
Complete bullocks. The game as per demo is COMPLETELY stable. It's absolute ludicrous. It shouldn't be easy to run at maximum stability like it is currently, and I'm glad they're trying to fix that. Correct me if I'm wrong but this period of time was anything but stable. It diminishes the fun of getting a new monarch and it's unnecessarily frustrating. - Overextension is now triggering bad events when you go over 100%, and its more frequent the higher you get.
- Fleet Basing rights now affects supply range as well.
- Going bankrupt is now far less fun, as you now lose republican tradition, cancels all currenct constructions & all outstanding loans to other nations are cancelled. Advisor costs are now +100% & manpower recover 100% slower during bankruptcy
- Conquests of overseas territory gives less AE for those on your home continent.
- Blockade impact now scales, making it as powerful lategame as it is in the early game.
What does this mean? That Manpower is half as slow (ie, takes 20 years to recover)? Cos 100% slower implies that it doesn't recover at all. but if it were 1/2 as slow, it's should be 50% slower shouldn't it?
We also added a "random country" button in the frontend, for when you don't know which country you want to play!
