That's a shame. It was a good, historically accurate feature right? Maybe it was causing some kind of balance issue? Or the AI just never broke it so that area was left very stale and uninteresting during the game? I think it's a cool feature.

Oh no, the AI broke it all the time, but that never removed any of the modifiers, giving East Africa a never-ending stream of income. Until it can be replaced with a sturdier and more foolproof mechanic, the Baqt as we know it will not be included.
