I had the same one happen to me too. Thought it was really awesome, the text for the event was really cool.
I commend your title for this topic, but I personally would have gone for "Huh." Both very descriptive I know its tough to pick a favorite.

I had a giggle when my bastard 7 year old son was excited by the priests talking about how all the fanatics were going to be punished, and gained the trait Zealous.
Then a few days later, my spymaster who was his guardian told him to "Put the Bible down and go outside and play.", and he lost the trait.
I'm sure some of these things will get old eventually - but there is so much scope for modding.

It's a narrative event serie, there's a couple of them and I'm glad to hear you liked this one
'Eogan Brianoglu' is what caught my eye
Brianoglu sounds like the guy's clan was adopted into a Turkish dynasty
i had this one in my first game as matilda of tuscany. basically the earth opens up and screams can be heard coming from the molten fires of hell. to close it use a priest (do not, repeat do not, throw a cow into it). if you can close the gates of hell you get a permanent character modifier of like +0.25 piety per month.
It doesn't make much "realistic" sense but its one of the most fun event series I've encountered in a Paradox game.
