2. Remove autocephalous Patriarchs (unless you know what it is). Or create a normal religious orthodox management areas. Orthodoxy in 1.07 is trash!
3. Remove a new system to collect levies. Do the troops automatically teleported from the towns to the main army. Dissolve the army to replenish its a bad idea

Was there ever such a thing as political parties back then?

And what do you mean by grapevine?

That was pretty much the Blues and the Greens right? I think there were two other groups too at some point.

Retinues cap is way too large.I am HRE Emperor (1290) and have a retinue capacity of 160K.That means if I could afford it I could have 100 Knights retinues.

The Military Organization tech bonus(+10% per level) needs to be smaller or or manpower calculations need to be changed.

I have Military tech level 1.7(17%) of 572K men.

Also starting religious Moral Authority needs to be lowered.(So Heretics can flourish, without player creating and Anti-pope.)I've never seen or heard of an AI Anti-Pope.

Ah wishlist:

- playable noble families in republics (comparing for jobs in the republic)
- playable barons
- trade mechanics
- cardinal college and an own church politic like church reform, church's world rule (depending on the religious authority)
- Saints appearing
- monk orders
- muslims and byzantines less feudalistic and more centralistic (duchies only inheritable while crown authority is low)
- pope not leading army into crusades anymore
- no dukes or higher (kings princes) marrying lowborns
- dynasty changes in byzantine empire (not 400 years a doukas' rule), plots to kill the emperor or take over the throne without having a claim on it (like in relatiy, a bad ruler could face automatically a revolt)
- AI creating antipopes sometimes
- less assassinations (the mass of children and heirs' assassinations is annoying)

Perfectly reasonable things that should be included in 1.07c or 1.08

Some things got seriously broken in patch 1.07 like factions being created and joined by vassals that have pretty good relations with their liege, super powerful mongols, huge doomstacks popping up at civil wars and courts stacking up with generals causing the game to slow down and preventing other courtiers from having children. I think these changes are rather game breaking and should be fixed so I am suggesting some minor fixes that I think should be included into the next patches and some major fixes, which might be harder to implement and that don't neccesarily have to be there.

1. The broken factions:
Minor fix: The relationship required for leaving/breaking up a faction should be reduced from +80 to +50 or +60, not only are these relationships already quite high but they should slightly prevent vassals from just joining factions for no reason. Also vassals should NEVER join independence factions if their liege is both their de-jure liege and in the same culture group. This should prevent vassals from fighting their liege for independence and then, right after the war(in case they win it) swear fealty to their lords.

Major fix: If a vassal is not the same culture and/or is not in their de-jure region, they should only fight for independence if their realm is not bordering a infidel. While you may see this as pretty extreme, it should prevent fighters for independence from (almost)immediatly being holy warred and destroyed, remember that the main reason for swearing fealty was for protection.

2. The mongols:
Minor: The Mongol invasion should change so that the people they conquer will all become their vassals and never be replaced by a new and randomly generated mongol nobility. This will prevent the mongols and their nobilty culture from destroying and replacing all the European ones but will also piss off alot less players who want to play in the eastern Russian/Cuman region without becoming a giant ahistorical empire to defeat the mongols. On top of that, it is also alot more realistic as in real life most people conquered by the Mongols were subdued and not replaced.

Major: The Mongols should get have both the new vassalising invasion and the all conquering invasion they have now, but they should only be able to use their old all conquering invasion once, when they initially come to Europe so they can gain some power for themselves but after that they shouldn't be able to bloat all over eastern Europe. Also, the giant Mongol horde should gradually weaken over time and lose 1% or 2% of their initially spawned horde each year. Even more closer to realism(and probably harder to implement) would be to lose the whole Mongol doomstack each time the leader of the Golden Horde/Il-Khanate dies and through an event there is a chance for an even bigger doomstack to be sent from Mongolia or getting a new khan with alot less troops. The amount of troops being granted from this event should gradually decrease the longer the Golden Horde/Il-Khanate has been in Europe.

3. Giant doomstacks during civil wars:
Both of these changes are rather simple.
Minor: Decrease the amount of troops gained through the event by 75%-90%.
Major: Remove the whole feature.

4. Generals being generated all the time.
Both of these changes are simple but are apparently this feature hard-coded because I haven't heard someone on the forums being able to solve it.
Minor: Just remove the whole feature
Major: Remove the feature but replace it with a new feature; the ability to invite a general to your court. It might be hard to effectively have the AI make use of it though. It also takes away the fun of breeding and educating people to be your perfect generals.

If you think there are more features that should be patched(dont neccesarily have to be about 1.07) or that some things I suggested aren't completely right and should/can be improved, post it here.

I don't really feels this feel at home in that thread. The wishlist thread seems to focus on new things that should be added, instead of fixing issues(I wouldn't really call them bugs) we have now. But I guess you probably didn't read further then the title.

Well.. not sure if it was mentioned (honestly not in mood to get through 8 pages right now) but what I would like would be better GUI for checking people.
By that I mean, when I want to check all court members, I really, really should not go by clicking my ruler, clicking court, going to the name on the list, clicking him, gui switches to him, when I want check next one I have to go back to my ruler, select next one, etc etc... pain in the ***. Instead I would like another panel to open that I can move - just one more, and when I click on person my ruler page would stay just new one would be changing. Similar for searching the people's tool - basically for any current tool (council, ruler, bishops, whatever).

A couple of minor features:
- Advisor jobs not "locking in" until the game is unpaused, thus not punishing my misclicks.
- A "sally" button equivalent to "assault", so my garrisons can clean up those pesky stragglers wandering around behind the lines. Like assaults, only available after a few days of sieging, so armies can still bypass castles.

Enable the AI to push claims of his courtiers or vassals.

ie:

I'm a vassal for the King of Ireland and I have a strong claim on Dublin. I'd like the King AI to push my claim for me if he likes me a lot (and more than the current count).

Gaining something from helping an ally
So far, when you are called into war, you only have the choice of:
a) losing some prestige and declining
b) not losing prestige and accepting
To make people actually take part in the war they're called to, I suggest making an event which would give some prestige (and maybe piety) when your ally wins.

I see this as a minor change. If it's not doable by events, then, well, I think we'll have to wait for this feature for 1.08.

And I agree with the OP. All these fixes should be in for 1.07c.
