That leaves two options:
a) You had random people off the street do this for you. Thats my guess.
b) You all did this on your off time. Far be it for me to tell you what to do when you're not working. Even if it is insane.
If actual P'dox staff did, in fact, write this DLC during working hours and it didn't interfere with the release schedule, then you guys simply scheduled your DLCs with lots of extra time that you didn't need. Which means, in theory, you could have just started on them earlier. Which ultimately means that it did, in fact, affect the schedule.
But given that the Greek Portrait DLC is late (at least from our point of view), the fact that there's now *Aztec* portraits is kinda annoying.
Given that EU players have been begging for a more realistic Meso-American experience in those games, where its actually justified, the fact that the Aztecs are now in CK2 is also annoying.
All that said, I would have bought this DLC... if it was a scenario where the Europeans discovered America in the middle ages, rather than this absurdity. *That* would have been a very interesting scenario, as many of the advantages that the Europeans had in the exploration of the Americas wouldn't be present, creating a comparatively level playing field. Admittedly, you'd have to come up with an entirely new map for the scenario, but given that a modder has already done just that, it can't be too hard.
PS, if you guys manage to work in that idea, I'll certainly buy it. Maybe other people agree with me?
