May not be much, but i definitely want:
1) NI set for Khmer (I mean, seriously! Even Cyprus has NI's now, why not Khmer?)
2) Manufacturies for all the new tradegoods
3) Ideas for Ming revolter kingdoms
4) Polynesia! Or at least just stick some nations on all those little islands for some unique gameplay!

Damn, i wanted to make such kind of thread...

What i would like to see:

-African Unit pack
-African advisor pack (But please dont give black African advisors to Ethiopia)
-Asian unit pack
-Asian advisor pack
-Reworked culture system
-Reworked religion system
-Anything else which make this game more deep

What i dont want to see:

- One more overprized dlc which only adds some events and diplomacy options
- More unit packs for Europeans

Mesoamerican and southern american flavor DLC, plus separation of paganism in general. One religion for siberia, one for Africa and one for America. Leave animism for uncolonized provinces, and a small DLC with troop sprites and counselors for central and southamerica.

-Plantation events when England conquers or annex's Irish provences. Seriously with all the things they changed with England they should have added this. It was one of the main focus's of British rulers for centuries.
-Natural disaster events eg; floods, earthquakes, volcano's. These were things that devestated countries hundreds of years ago, and still do. And the only events with disasters in them only fire when building canals.

A new Divine Wind which focussese on Japan/China/Hordes to improve their mechanics and make them more unique and playable would be good. Giving unique mechanics to the Mesoamericans and South-American nations would also be good.

Governmental mechanics and some decent peace-time mechanics. 3 Great Problems were destroying this game before AOW:
1. Poor rebel mechanics
2. Europa>ROTW
3. NO Decent Peacetime Mechanics

Number 1 and 2 are pretty much fixed, so it is making me hope that the next DLC will introduce some exciting Peacetime mechanics. Then nobody would be able to deny the fact that EUIV is the best Grand-Strategy game out there :) (Just kidding btw)

Any of the following as DLC focus:

  • Internal mechanics and peacetime
  • Real dynasty mechanics
  • Better espionage and diplomatic power projection

Also appreciated (minor features or patch stuff):

  • More events, especially DHEs and chains
  • Trimming of useless duplication like different kinds of regions
  • More significant choices in unit selection

What I definitely do not want:

  • Any more provinces
  • DLC focused on a single geographic area or government type

a proper family tree, I know that stuff is the focus of CK2, but with monarchs playing such a large role it's really frustrating not knowing if your lineage is nice and secure
things this would solve:
-more accurate and less random inheritance (for example: why is your heir that's almost as old as your monarch never replaced by the monarchs son?)
-personal unions become a lot more transparant and this could make for some great peacetime gameplay (especially if you can maneauver your dynasty into other countries with royal marriages, assassinations etc.)
Such a feature would basically hit two birds with one stone: more to do during peacetime and less randomness in one of (if not the) most important aspects of the game
Having your heir die when your king is 60 and getting under a pu with a superpower is definitly the most frustrating thing I've encountered in this game so far (so much so that I would reload if I werent playing ironman)

Something small: Saxony has a National idea where it discovers Porcelain. Give them an event that changes the produced good in their capital to Chinaware! After all, the Kurfürstlich-Sächsiche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meißen was a big contribution to Saxony's finances when it was built - not to forget that it was the first one outside of China.

MUCH more depth and strategic gameplay to naval operations

More interaction with characters (heirs, rulers, advisors, random people at your court... not CK2-ish though!)

More focus on interaction between royal houses (more in-depth PU mechanics etc)

A more realistic trade model (trade is not a one-way resource you can steer in some direction... from the colonies this is more or less accurate, but not for all other trade flows)

I don't know why people want things to do during peace. This game is not about peace.

Deeper naval combat with less stupidly one-sided battles and more variety in ship types. Make there be a REASON to actually ever have an admiral outside of MP.

A rehaul and expansion of diplomacy. You should be able to bribe other nations into wars against their rivals in limited situations, but even if I give Brandenburg 1000 gold it can't overcome or have any impact on the diplomatic score at the moment in any case.

Stuff like that, look at Civ or some better political game and boost the choices in EU4. I know they don't do it because the AI is pretty crap, so maybe work on that.

I would totally buy a better AI expansion, but I don't want to fund Skynet, so not too good.
