I would love to see more cultures in one province!

Yes please! Minority/Plurality system for culture AND religion! Ideally set up side-by-side like so:

Say, 70% Catholic Hungarian
10%Catholic Austrian
10% Protestant Austrian
5% Gnostic Serbian
5% Orthodox Serbian

That would be my ideal balance of complexity for that system. I don't need a POP system or anything, but this would be complicated enough already for me.

1) More then one culture\one faith in province. Heretics and etc.
2) More modificators, events, decisions x)
3) Leaders and Rulers with portraits. Better government. Something like it was in Rome, maybe.
4) :glare: Zaporozhian Cossacks needs always to be of christian faith! Not sunnism, like it was 90% of time in EU3. Although, they still can be catholics\protestants\etc..
5) More historical titles where it can be. Leader of cossacks was Hetman, not Khan. Moscovia had Tzar, not King, etc.
6) Do something better with Hordes...more historical, idk.
7) If there would be time of American Revolutions...Pleeeeeeeaaaassseeeee! Something more special...Or even, maybe, events or, huh, "relations with colonies" menu? Anyway, colonies needs special mechanics, i think. It even could be half-independent parts of country (not a big one, sure).
8) Pirates...maybe events about them too. Raids! Bases. And sometimes they can become something really dangerous even for big fleet. And don't forget about patents...
9) And there was idea about new system of explorers...but i had lost it cause auto logoff -_-. Well, it was basic on slider "interventionism-isolationism". More interventionism - more events about explorers, that could ask for donating them and than to disappear, found something, become more important (merchant, great person), back and tell people about "far countries" that could lead for many different results...Although, isolationism means more stability, emphasis on inner country problems...

Enough for today. Or if it all is really bad (or just my english :p) — enough at all.

All good ideas! To expand on one idea, pleasepleasepleaseplease don't make all independent non-vassal countries "Kings". King of Savoy, King of Brandenburg, King of Austria, god that annoyed me.

Better colonies, ability to merge groups of colonial provinces into one "colony", ability to appoint viceroy/governors to those colonies (huge costs of manteinance), or leave them in splendid isolation (their culture drifts away from yours...)

Sensible population growths. Ethnicities being represented as percentages. Population-limited army size, as well.

One issue that's only addressed in HoI is navies not costing manpower. In EU3, no matter how large your manpower pool, you could have a HUGE army! Same with VicII, which was even more annoying because where were the sailor pops? EUIV is a chance to fix this.

No more wasteland, you should be able to colonise everywhere, just some places are worthless to try, like you could colonise, or maybe claim the sahara but it would give you no advantages

You realise that what will happen with that is that the AI will completely ignore the value of the province and take it over anyway? Spain will conquer a few settlements in west Africa, and then colonise the whole sahara from there. The map will look utterly repulsive.

I don't like the look of wastelands either. If you border one, a few months later you immediately discover the entire wasteland province. I think that there are two solutions:

1 - Bring back PTI. This would probably make some people a bit mad, but it would fit in with an old map style interface. Put some 'here be dragons' signs on it and it will fit right in.

OR

2 - Make it impossible to discover wastelands unless you have the same culture group as the wasteland or have a high enough tech level. When you control the majority of the provinces around a wasteland (and have explored it), you can colonise it, though this is basically just for show and gives you nothing.

i agree with your second point, that is a much better solution than mine, and i forgot to mention the obvious earlier, MORE PROVINCES

Could just break wasteland provinces into smaller pieces. I'm fairly certain that won't even cause slowdown.

I think a system where only the North Africans could take routes in the Sahara and lead an army on Timbuktu, or the Mongols stretching from Kamchatka to Kola, or the Mali Empire subjugating the Coast of West Africa, till a country could gain the ability by decision for holding a region(Russia after taking Kazan and annexing the Sibir Khanate), or advancements in Technology (Like Africa in Victoria2, but that is outside the time range).

Please,please,please,please,plase...

in CK2 thw soundtrack is just perfect...but in EU3 and Vick2 you failed...I have to said it...
I hope to see (ear) the true music of that time (I repleaced the soundtrack of EU2 and Vick1 in EU3 and Vick2, and add some more).

The newmade musics are good...but nothing can repleace the real songs of the corresponding age!

and now my favourite EU2 song...the "pavane sur la bataille"
back to EU2 :') (my very first paradox game)

I loved that song too!

Edit: CK2 soundtrack was alright, but the tracks were too few and it became awfully repetitive.

true...and DLC tracks aren't so honourable...

I'd like to see a better system for peace treaties in wars, such as being able to both make demands and offer concessions in the same treaty. This could allow for situations such as the actual outcome of the Seven Years' War, where Spain ceded Florida to Britain but received part of Louisiana in exchange. It could also lead to situations where a nation agrees to vassalization in exchange for a grant of land, and in general would make the reolution of wars more interesting.

In a game it is. There are some games that got realy popular, because they were very brutal(sometimes so brutal they were abolished in some states). In reality this is just evil and bad thing, and should be punished, and prevented.

Let's not go discussing ethnic cleansing
