I'd like the map to not end up looking like a technicolor dreamcoat of silly borders. Victoria 2 avoided this well, so I'd like to see the same in EUIV.
Actually, there are flags on the merchant ships. They're really small though, so it's hard to see on that picture. Try right click -> view image.
More provinces! Bornholm, The Faroe Isles and The Shetlands just to name a few
You're not. I do that too. Would like to see something that encourages you to look at the graphical elements. Was playing CKII the other day, zoomed in, and was like "What? There are unit sprites??"I might be in a minority here, but I rarely play at a zoom level where I can see the sprites. I'm usually playing at a level where I can only see the unit tiles/flags.
I could still do with an answer to how you'd do the changes in available music or artwork though - /when/ does it change - year or tech?
Fewer expansion packs and DLC. Can you get it right and be happy with it the first time?

There are always things to improve upon, unless you want a five year development period.
King is right though. Four expansion packs is a lot. Only games like The Sims have as many as these. Two, large content, expansion packs should be the max.
What should they do when they feel they can still improve though, and already have two expansions? I agree that four is a bit much, but I don't mind more content.
Napoleon's Ambition didn't have enough content to deserve an expansion pack, and the others could have been merged into two.
No more tech sliders, none of the other games have you invest in technology. Can't we just have a Victoria 2-like tech tree?
