After taking a brake from hoi2 Armageddon I have been playing EU3 some days and I was thinking of a little improvement for the game. So more input from other Paradox users would be a great thing.

What annoys me is the control of moments lets say you’re marching from Barcelona to Madrid but after some seconds you change your mind and what to be in Aragon instead.
When you then click on Aragon and the former destination was Madrid you lose all the movement progress even if you was just a few sec before entering Aragon.
Now that’s something I would like to see changed.

There were 1-2 or more topics like this but your first who mentioned this bug prodobly they would have to rewrite whole game code and that cost $ so answear is no if that would be easy they would fix it in NA patch :)

And seriously if you start pointing out all mistakes/errors EU got fanboys will come and kill you all i can say whole EU is bugged :) and secound Paradox is not reading this so stop wasting breath(fingers)...

I think they should get back to EU2 engine AI was a lot better i even lossed some times and im old timer so 2D is fine with me only higher resolutions and give money back for EU3+NA :rofl:

The annoying part is that it works in most of the earlier Paradox games, so you get used to it, especially in combination with the shift+click waypoint system.

OMG fanboy :rofl: becouse its not realistic it looks like this lets say your moving from point A to Point B you drived 2 days to reach B point but you forgot to take wife so your teleporting back in 1 sec to point A :rofl:

Yes, it’s really unpleasant and annoying. I’ve noticed it practically immediately when I played my 1. game and started moving with units. And it’s even the more shameful when you realize that e.g. in hoi2 it works correctly.

Can some one cheak if you get similar bug i needed to decleare war on 2 nations (fast) and i had only 1 diplomat so i pause game and just decleare war on 2 nations and after i resume i lose this 1 diplomat and im at war with 2 nations so game cant count in pause mode? not sure if it works on all diplomatic actions...

Bug or no bug it’s a mistake

I did not use the word bug but it is a control problem when you play the game. For instance you move from province A to province B but changed you mind and what to move to C.
You click on province C and lose all moment progress from A to B complete fuzz in moment progress.

Alex1986 I don’t expect Paradox to fill all holes but this one is a mistake.

Just because i dont agree with you doesn't mean that i am a fanboy. No need to laugh at me like i dont understand. It's just rude.

I understand what you are saying and i agree completely it is very unrealistic BUT it's not a bug just because it is unrealistic. Its working as paradox designed it.

I cant dow two nations even if I have the game on p. mode.

But this I can do if I want to avoid war I just save when an allied nation requests for help and reload the game. When I reload the game my allied nation is at war and I can spear money and even stability.

OK sorry maybe i was a bit rude...

Think about it its a bug if you chosen wrong direction and enemy is moving in your territory you can jump back quickly thx to this bug...and if paradox designed it well ppl who thinked about it well should be fired :)

I don't think that paradox designed it that way, because it act contrare to earlier paradox games and the design of the interface.

Let me give another more clear example:

You have an conquistador marching to the great unknown, the estimated time of arrivel is in 3 months (Yikes), after two months you decide that the army should march back to safety after exploring, so you select the army, hold shift and adds "home" as an additional way-point. The result: The route of the army is now to the unknown province and back; except that the army has suddenly lost all progress towards the unknown province.

You can imagine the scenario:
- "We will march to Siberia, we will be there in 3 months!"
2 months later:
- "Yes, my king. After going to Siberia we will return home. By the way it will take another 3 months to get to Siberia!"

I find that models the lack of instant communication quiet well. The wasted/reset time is just the time it took for the marching orders to change.

Use shift when changing location if it's somewhere near (ie. Aragon -> Madrid to Aragon -> Castilla la Vieja) so it doesn't reduce the earlier progress.
