What will your Mercenary Unit`s name be?

I'm wondering why so many have numbers in their unit names like 10th Death Mountain Rangers or 101st Blood Wolves. This number usually means that this unit is a sub-unit in a bigger military organisation like an field army corps or a division. And it is usually used for regular troops. But a mercenary unit a not regular unit. They are hired guns outside of the military command structure. So it make no sense to give a mercenary unit a sub-unit number.

Most of those Units were originally house units with one of the successor states, or even Star League units that didn't leave with Kerensky. Some just copy the use of numbers in the naming system for one reason or another (like the 12th Vegan Rangers)
