When EUIII comes out will you move across to the new game permanently and never come back here or will you still play EUII?

Given that the time difference between the release of EUIII and the arrival of the first "Byzantine mod for EUIII" is likely to measured in nanoseconds, at most, that's not a convincing argument.Rocketman said:It has the Roman Empire. It'll still be played.

I've never understood those who dwell on map details rather than being concerned primarily with the game engine so I'll have to let that one pass.Rocketman said:Maybe, but also, the map doesn't suck.![]()
I would, but you know how the unwashed masses are... Severely lacking in historical knowledge. As such, were I to use the rightful name, "The Purple Blob", it would confuse the multitudes to no end. Thus I use the colloqial term that everybody understands (Byzantium) and nobody suffers except the pedants and good riddance to them.EDIT: And you better call the Empire by its rightful name!![]()

Dr Bob said:I'd suspect some MP would still go on, as EU3 most probably won't be stable for that without a few patches.
Gebhard Blucher said:For me it will depend on how good EU3 is. I mean, I loved Civ2, but hardly ever (never) play it any more, in favor of SMAC. On the other hand I do still play SMAC, even though I have Civ3 and Civ4, because I like it better. So I guess I'll see.
EU3 is looking pretty good though.
