7th June, 7:30 AM : come back to home after a night at work, 2 full days of HoI4 are before me.
7th June, 7:35 AM : after my computer turn on (yes, he is quite old, that's why it takes 5mn to boot), I launch Steam and click on "Install".
7th June, 7:35 AM/7:50 AM : game downloading while I take my shower.
7th June, 8:00 AM : candies, tea, biscuits ready, I launch the game and say goodbye to social life for 48h.

That will be the first best moment in HoI4

lol - you left out "as Byzantium" .

As per most in this thread, I'm just keen as mustard to play it. For me, a game of HoI is lots of smaller moments that add up to big ones, and the bigger moments are usually dynamic and depend a lot on the opposition, so a bit hard to predict.

I can envision the satisfaction of the first victory with the Regia Marina in a straight-up battle with the Royal Navy.

We'll see if that's in the first playthrough or the twentieth though.
