On topic: Not lose as Italy

A lot of Italy's problems during the war like the Army-Navy rivalry, binary division template, politicized officer corps, and general disunity are either fixable or irrelevant in game so no matter what I do, I'll probably do better than Italy in real life.

I have the opposite down the line for a later play-through. My favourite game ever was a Britain x Japan x Netherlands colonial love-in. Britain gobbled up the rest of Africa, Japan puppeted most of the far east and the Netherlands took Belgium. The three then partitioned South America (Britain got the Carribean, minus the Dutch Islands, then the Netherlands got the eastern side and Japan got the western).
