What will be the style of your first dynasty?

I have a hard time making up my mind, so I'll probably just unlock everything in the first generation and then enjoy all of them!

Nah, but jokes aside, it's hard to say. I loved playing the bloodline game in CK2, so if we are able to do real breeding programs here unlike CK2* then I'll probably go for Blood. Otherwise maybe Law or something because I really enjoy building up my realm.

*I know some people thought there were trait breeding programs in CK2, but come on. With a flat 15% chance of passing on a congenital trait it was really just a matter of tapping as many ladies with congenital traits as possible and praying. That's not exactly enjoyable gameplay to me. What they've hinted at for CK3 sounds much better.

Either family or warfare. Probably some combination of the two. I plan on playing a clan government and giving all my land to family members, so family makes sense for that, but war will be needed for our blood to conquer the land.

Blood and Kin, no question. Probably in that order of priorities. I won't even be looking at the others for my first dynasty, I imagine, so focused am I on those two.

Irish trial and error to get the the feel (and this time I am not a fool and start with 769 Ireland and think tutorial island, this is hell only to realize that they meant the 1066 starting date). Overall Blood and Kin sound the best at first glance.

Then my typical starts. Babenberger in 1066 with the goal to survive and keep the Habsburgs away, with glory.
A Sapmi-run where I try to build an arctic empire (there goes the Kin-Line)
And as newly planned. A Kushite Run where I try tro reform this ancient faith and conquer Egypt (there I go for Blood and probably reform it as a temporal religion, something I rarely do, but come on, for this faith its a bit of a must have).

I am figuring a Steppe guy who settles down in a nice eastern European country (releasing his steppe lands because I value nice borders higher than clay). Like I figure maybe Wallachia. Then converts to Orthodox or Catholic before eventually creating his own heretical version of it granting ultimate power to the ruler at the expense of all others, basically a sham royal church that exists only as an extension of the government. Also no culture conversion instead a minority steppe aristocracy ruling the masses with a iron fist.

I'm planning an Irish (of course) dynasty of warrior-scholars, who will implement and enforce radical new laws such as allowing women to inherit land and fight on the battlefield.

BTW, celts DID have warrior women, until it was outlawed (p 32 "the law of the innocent")
