Start = 1066
End = 1452
No you can't play muslim rulers. Only christians will be playable in the release version. That will most likely change when they start to release DLC's.

Start date will be any time between 1066 and 1337. End date will be 1453. There will be four bookmarked start-dates that Paradox thinks are particularly interesting.

So looking at the end date, looks like the Ottomans will not be a big player in this game?
Most likely not, as the last start date is 1337, so they won't really be that powerful..
