Ceylon 1453

Yip Ceylon - I had to wait to get a new graphics card and I had read all the stuff about trade being impossible so I thought lets try that.

Should have tried Mamlukes cos that was my favourite EU2 country (6 GCs in EU2 past 1700 inc three finishes!) but they don't look as much fun this time around...

I see we can expland this tread into best game and first game played in EU serials.
Best game in EU2 was Serbia 1419(so from begining)and finished as #1 with more than 3500 VP.it was absolutly best game ever played in EU serials for me.
First game was Austria in 1419(also from begining)and there was i realised that with lots of practice i could acomplish much with Serbia.

Best game in EU3 is my current game as Austria where i have lots of provinces in HRE and i can't remember still what year it is but i started from 1526,so i got lot of time left to play.

First game was Serbia 142*(don't know exactly)but i got owned by OE so...

I always love playing Denmark or Byzantium (Trebizond in EU3). I'm a Dane, hence Denmark, and I love the idea of re-creating the eastern roman empire, hence Byzantium/Trebizond.

BTW is events made in the EU3 vanilla version to re-make Byzantium if you conquer the old provinces with Trebizond for example or do I need a mod?

Ming with my very first EU3 game.

Boy did I do things wrong, but it was fun as a learning game.
After the Ming there came the Ottoman Empire and it might look that I'm getting the hang of it with my current Sicily game (although being catholic and western makes it also a bit easier)

Norway, actually. Was my first game (and my first encounter with the EU series), and I actually did pretty well. Created a super-Scandinavian state under Norway. And then I went bankrupt... 3 times.

I kept loaning and loaning money to fund the annihilation of Sweden and Denmark, and my inflation was at ~30%. That, and the fact that Great Britain kept slapping me around to get Orkney (even though I had made them withdraw their claim on it) made me quit eventually. Was a pretty neat game, though. Might give it another try, now that I'm not a noob. :p

Austria. By the time the 1.2 patch came out, I'd outdone the Habsburgs - had more territory, vassalized practically all of Germany, and had just dismembered France.
