What to do with AoW Wallachia?

They're a much more tougher one to play now thanks to one mesely provience that the Ottomans gained with the AoW expansion that limits your expansion through Serbia, Bosnia and Ragusa. To the east you have Moldevia which is already a vassal. And to the north you have Hungary who almost always allies with FFrance!

So, how does one play this? It's much more difficult to play them now that Serbia isn't connected to Wallachia anymore.

No CB DOW on Serbia?
Restart till Hungary doesn't ally France. Try to get Poland or Austria as an ally and DOW Hungary. Take land so you can then border Serbia?

I don't know why but for me Hungary almost certainly allies with France. You've basically got limited choices because you'll be warned by the Ottomans who will always call themsleves in if you go to war and if you don't go to war then you'll just be declared on anyway they also dis-allowed you from warning big nations to counter-act it. Also I don't think you can do the NO CB on Serbia. I'm not sure if you can core proviences that aren't connected to you right?

Yes you can core non-contiguous provinces but it must be in range and you need access through the intervening territory I think

Because they both rival Austria.

No CB Serbia and make it a vassal, before the warnings come in. Take Zeta temporarily so you can fabricate on Ragusa and Bosnia. Annex Ragusa, vassalize Bosnia. After Ragusa is cored start annexing the other 2. When Hungary is weak or you get 1-2 big allies charge and get provinces to unite your lands.

I just played the waiting game and allied Austria and Poland, myself. Attacked Hungary when they had few allies. The rest was easy. Took about five decades.

My country later fell apart during the league wars, since the protestants got utterly destroyed.
